Scientists have genetically modified camels so that they have two heads – one head on each end of the camel! Two hooves point to each head; the camel can go in either direction, forward or back, with no problem!

The problem with camels is that they never want to walk back to where they’ve been. They won’t go from point A to point B and then straight back to point A. They’re hardwired to search for water, so they always want to go somewhere else, not somewhere they’ve been. As a result, camel drivers take long circuitous routes to return to where they started.

The two-headed camel – one head on each end – solves this problem! Since each head goes in only one direction, the camel (or is it camels????) never realizes it returned to where it left!

As each head is a clone of the other head, the camel looks exactly the same back to front and front to back!

Scientists are calling them palindromedaries.
