Fine collared shirts make a statement as clear as Pooh on the pot.

I am so glad I have your permission to buy something.

Are you in the middle of your two songs like a bird without a beak?

Terbium

Now that idiom makes no sense when compared to his situation. Oh and everyone should look at the stats because the percentages are quite interesting numbers.

I believe a nice collared shirt is the way to go, especially if someone else buys them for you.

I politely told the ladies they'll still have to call me "sir".

Aww shucks. Ya'll ruined the whole cool number thing going on with the statistics, by posting. Stupid posters.

Do you have a silver guitar yet?

Hafnium

Um.. I didn't get to see the cool number thing - can you describe it?

Terbium
06/08/2006 @ 07:58:02 EDT

Umm, well see, at the time I said it the base number for one posts was .4040% repeating. So it made some pretty interesting numbers. Like my percentage was 4.242424% and the person bellow me was 2.424242%. Probably a stupid thing to get excited about, but it was pretty cool to me.

And he just started talking, like he was on tv....

Terbium

And to that I say... huh?

A poor man once told me that he can't afford to speak.

Maybe your 2 songs are really just one song and you don't know it yet. Maybe you should take the mean of both songs and call it good.

Look Ron - if there's just two songs in ya, boy, whaddya want from me?

I hope at least one of those songs is an epic-length rock opera with some form of sci-fi/folk theme.

Terbium
06/09/2006 @ 13:37:35 EDT

Yes. I hope it is like Free Bird with a 5 minute ending.

Zirconium
06/09/2006 @ 17:54:14 EDT

Either, like Free Bird but not.. or.. like Inna-Godda-Davida but shorter and still having a cool drum solo. Or maybe like neither, but still long and totally rockin.

Terbium

Ha ha. Yeah but I don't think Ron is a stonner who cant say in the garden of eden.

Lawrencium

Ron, you may try going to the president and asking 'Old What's His Name' about it.

You should do an irish-folk themed cover of Pink Floyd's Echoes. That friggen song has been on my mind ever since I listened to it while watching the "Jupiter and Beyond" chapter of 2001. Kubrick was right- he should have used it. A D-key tin whistle would do awesome justice to the "birds" in the wasteland themed part of the song. I think, however, you should sing it with the same Irish/English/Redneck pikey accent that Brad Pitt used in Snatch. I'd pay money for that single. Hells yes, I would.

Lawrencium

I'm pretty sure I'd pay for an Irish-themed folk cover of pretty much anything off of Meddle or Dark Side, but especially Echoes. Good call on that one. Ron, If you do make an Irish folk Floyd with a gypsy/pikey accent, you'd best have the lyrics available for those of us who couldn't make out a damn thing Pitt said.

No you shouldn't do anything with the workings of Mr. Waters. You'd end up screwing it up and destroying his great work.

Actinium

I'm sure Ron appreciates your vote of confidence. Marcus has been listening to Ron and Mr. Waters since you were in Pampers, so maybe you should let him judge which songs Ron will or won't screw up.

Uranium

It's hard for Ron to mess up a song. The acoustic version of "For Science!" (which was never performed) didn't even suck. There was even a music video (which did suck) that has been lost.

So piss on you, I'm workin' for Mel Brooks!

Terbium

Its not that Ron in particular would screw it up. It is just that you can not redo Pink Floyd without screwing it up.

I redid pink floyd, in my pants.
