Kate bought me a dremel and I also think it is underpowered for most projects. I don't think I'm sorry I have it though; it has come in handy for finishing touches on my woodworking projects and cutting nails and screws. Once I tried to use it to actually cut a piece of tile and I gave up after an hour because the dremel just wasn't getting the job done.

Agreed- Dremel sucks. The most I ever use mine for is carving wood block- other than that it does less than my Gerber tool which is far more quick and useful in a pinch.

The dremel has it's time and place. Cutting circles in wood is not either.

FWIW, I have Ryobi's version of the roto-zip, which is really just a big dremel. I tried using it to cut circles, and there is definitely a learning curve. I found it more consistent if you hold the hold the tool straight and spin the wood (I think this doubles as a kama sutra maneuver too).

Next time you have s'mores, try using peanut butter cups in place of the hershey bars. WOWIE.

We had peanut butter cups as well as hersheys for the s'mores. Never let it be said NetGoddess doesn't provide a proper and diverse sugar high.

Wonder how a Mallow Cup would taste in a s'more.
