Thursday. The first day of my trip to Chicago. Finding my hotel was easy, but the traffic was not. I went about 30mph on 294 for quite a ways. Teaches me to try to get through there at 5 p.m. Anyways, I decided that I would do something cool and go see Blue Man Group. They have "student rush" tickets, meaning if there are still tickets left two hours before the show starts then a student can buy them for $25. I got an excellent seat. It was about 9 rows back and dead center. If you have never seen Blue Man Group, do it. It is an excellent show. I don't want to give away anything, because the whole show is full of surprises. If you aren't an insane driver, then you will have to adapt to traffic conditions in Chicago. Going 80 in a 55 is recommended unless you want to get into an accident. |
