Saturday was an all Chicago day. Well, it was a mostly Chicago day.

We went to Denny's, since it was the closest place to my hotel in Willowbrook. We (I) decided to walk, since driving 200 yards seemed stupid at the time. There was a lot of construction there. Construction tends to expose dirt which, when combined with rain, creates mud. There was so much fucking mud that I thought I was going to get stuck forever. Anyways, I was called "miss" again at Denny's, which was curiously employed completly by Hispanic people, and I ate a lot of their crappy food, which blocked any desire to eat for pretty much the rest of the day.

We went into Chicago and parked in the Field Museum parking garage. We walked from there to the Sears Tower and visited the Sky Deck. We had to endure some horrible informational film before we could go to the top. On the way up we got to watch a fun little cartoon that was insulting to everyone's intelligence, including the seven year old that was forced to stand right behind my ass.

The view was decent. It was a bit hazy, but one could still see quite a ways. The muzak was spitting out "Somewhere Out There" from the movie with the mouse that comes to America. Someone identified it to his friend as a Vivaldi piece. I was looking for a way to open the window so I could throw the fucker out to his deserving death, but I could not find any latches.

We walked back to the Field Museum. I got to see some dinosaur bones and some stuffed animals. I also got to walk through parts of an actual Egyptian tomb that was shipped to Chicago. That was pretty cool.

We went to Roger's place in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and hung out there until Sunday, at which point I went home, thus ending my adventure.
