Ron, I think you should start using the Oh No Robot comic transcription/search service. Readers submit transcriptions of your comics, and once you approve them, they're searchable by text, or location or character in them (assuming the comics are transcribed in a reasonable format). If you went the Oh No Robot route, I'd be happy to set up a Wiki page with some standard formatting. |

That's an excellent idea, MrPoush. I've e-mailed them, because they seem to have an API available to automatically add transcriptions, saving some time. I embed the text of each comic in the comic page itself, hiding the div tag that contains it so it's not visible. Google picks that up, but Oh No Robot is designed for comics, so it seems to be a much better place for exposure than the huge wasteland that is Google. Thanks for the info on that! |
