I also went for apples but also did not pick them myself... AND I saw about 500 pictures from the ERs in Iraq from a friend who just got back... talk about awesome weekend..... (your little tiny bone is NOTHING... I got to see "is that a foot? I think it was")

You should mount the shelves on the wall sideways and call it modern art.. or maybe screw knicknacks down to the shelf and then mount it sideways. It could be an interesting conversation piece.
