I feel the same about visiting my folks; I love them dearly and I enjoy visiting them, but sometimes it's just too much to handle, so I don't make it there more than once a month or so. Now that we've thrown Ashley's family in the mix (and they're half the distance from us as my folks), I see them even less and less. Also, they're old and can't lift stuff so when I visit, it's often along the lines of "It's great to see you. Can you and your brother take this sofa down to the basement?" |
