So...
I haven't been able to update in a while. I just moved into a house and the room I'm using for my computers doesn't have a grounded outlet. I'm working on getting some ground in there. My computer activities have been at a stand-still because of this. I'm back to "work" now, though, so I'm able to use the computer to do whatever.
I was in a store buying something for my wife. A gliding rocker, in case you were wondering. Anyhow, the associate that was helping me ended up getting another guy to help him get this chair down. As they were doing this, an old guy comes up to the person helping me and says he needs a mechanic. My associate gives him a strange look and then turns around to take the chair from the guy on top of the rack that was getting it down. The old guy says, "Never mind him. He's alright just hangin' out up there." The reason this old guy needed a "mechanic" was because his disposable flashlight no longer worked and he wanted someone to replace the batteries. After a few minutes of monkeying with the device, the employee gave up and told the old guy that it really was meant to be tossed. The guy up in the racks was getting another box down for me and was trying to hand it to my guy. Again, the old man says, "He'll be okay up there. Just let him be." The guy in the racks looks like he's going to bust a nut if he didn't get some help, and the guy helping me was too much of a pussy to tell the old guy to get lost. After the old man was satisfied that he'd messed up the flow of commerce, he left. His route was interesting, though, as he pushed his cart through the smallest goddam space possible. What's up with stupid people interfering with my business? I wanted to smack him and let him know that it was impolite to interrupt. I would have said something like, "Dammit, jackass, can't you see I'm busy?!?!?!" Oh well.
