I'm going to add a "projects" section to the web site. This section will be dedicated to my various projects, past and present. I'll probably even make a little forum for the projects and do some other stuff blah blah blah.
We broke the current message record in the Halloween thread the other day. This has actually given me some insight as to what features might be needed. A paging feature for the messages might be nice. Some thread activity icons (cold, hot, Jesus exiting the cave, etc.) could add a sense of flare. Opening links in a new window was suggested. I know that the links page used to do this, but I've been going back and forth on whether I like this functionality. I've been using tabbed browsing in Firefox and the "open in new window" functionality really doesn't play nice with the tabs. Thoughts?
I have actively been working on Connection and have come up with a design that will allow people to create their own clients for the game if they so desire. That way, when the crappy web client becomes fully functional, complainers can be told to go make their own.
