My sleep schedule is all screwed up, so here I am at 10:50 and I'm not yet in bed. After Monday's snafu, which ended a little after three in the morning, I was able to get about three hours of sleep. I then got up and went about my day. It was very odd. I didn't really feel tired at all. I wasn't as mentally acute as I usually are, but there wasn't a driving urge to go to sleep. I stayed up until about ten last night. I should probably be in bed now, but I'm typing this up instead.

Someone has linked to my LOGO page, so I'm thinking I might need to spruce that up a bit, maybe with some screenshots and some commentary on the design. The BBC can come and film the process and make a stellar documentary that will only be aired on PBS, and not even during fundraising week at that. I'm thinking of making a LOGO program that simulates Buffon's Needle Problem, and use it to estimate pi. Combine that and a scoop of vanilla, and you'll have a math problem that everyone will love.

I hope these regular updates are doing the trick. I haven't looked at the stats for this month yet, but I've noticed that the comments are a little more regular, which would indicate to me that people are reading more often. Either that or there's nothing else to do on the Internet, which would be mind boggling.

I have a number of chat logs to post, but I'm tired of manually formatting them. The chat log page is getting pretty lengthy as well. My thought is to make it a thingy like the news articles or forums, where each log will be on its own page and it can have comments and such. I want to make it easy to submit logs so that others can do it as well. I'm struggling with the format and storage. I could go crazy with it all, or I could just save the raw text and spit it back out on demand. Trillian does this neato thing where it stores logs in XML, so I could then take that and write a stylesheet that converts it to some nicely formatted HTML. I could also simply do a newline delimited input and render that somehow. I could have people drive to Florida, find the host's data center, and use magnets to add chat log content to the storage devices. Many options available, and those of you out there that have a technical opinion could probably pipe up and help me out here.
