Consider you're sitting with a friend at a perfectly round table, and next to you is an infinite supply of uniform water bottles with round bases. It is proposed that each of you take a turn placing a bottle upright on the table such that it does not disturb any bottles already on the table. The winner is the last person to be able to place a bottle on the table. Should you go first or second, and how should you play?
