Dear Honda,
About two years ago I purchased a brand new Honda Accord. I am continually impressed with its reliability, fuel economy, and performance. I commend you on designing and constructing such a vehicle, and I hope you continue to deliver the same quality in all future products.
It has recently come to my attention that there is a design flaw in the Accord. To be more precise, it is nearly impossible to place three child restraints in the back seat. I do understand that some design decisions had to be made in order to maintain the overall vision, but it seems that the probability of a motorist having three children in four years was misjudged by your engineers. An honest mistake, I agree, but one that must be corrected.
I would like to suggest, as a means of rectifying my situation, that you provide to me a Honda Odyssey having similar mileage, as well as a credit on my current auto loan to cover medical procedures to prevent my fathering of more children, lest you end up having to pay for a bus. I see this as reasonable compensation for your oversight, but you are welcome to negotiate these terms.
Again, thank you for the wonderful vehicle, and I hope to continue our partnership in small scale automobile purchases.
Sincerely,
Ron
