On Monday of our vacation, everyone had to work. We were on our own, set loose on the streets of Lynnwood to fend for ourselves. We ended up at the mall, wandering around with no children and no schedule. It was very relaxing. We also went and see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was an okay movie. I'm not that in to the whole franchise. Sarah has recently finished the final book and is reading the series yet again.
We ate dinner at rich and Kate's house that night. Tasty pork chops. It was a nice relaxing day.
Switching gears here, today I went golfing at our company's annual outing. I had a good time, despite not really caring for golf. I was hitting pretty well, too. I almost hit a house, though. I rifled the ball, and it went farther than I had expected. I landed about three feet of a retaining wall in front of a house. Fortunately for me, the house was still under construction and I also didn't hit any of the builders there.
On that thought, any idea why someone would want a house on the golf course? If there's no distinction between my back yard and a golf course except a white post that reads "NO CARTS", I'd be thinking about my home purchasing decision. Their insurance must be outrageous. Anyone?
That'll do it for tonight. I have more vacation information, and I just may post it tomorrow for you. Lots happened on our last full day.
