I couldn't think of a good subject line. Sorry.

I had to get my iPod replaced because the dial stopped responding. I took to the Apple store near me. I had to use the "concierge service" and register an appointment to speak with a "genius" at the "genius bar". Why everyone wasn't wearing a shirt with the word "asshole" on the front is beyond me. Anyway, the genius attempted to restart the iPod, despite the fact that the dial and the button were completely broken. Seems to me that a genius would break free from standard operating procedures. Anyway, he went to help someone with his iPhone while my iPod was being restored. I waited for about fifteen minutes for him to get back to me. He acknowledged that, yes, the dial was broken. He gave me a new one, eventually. The whole thing lasted far too long. I'm a patient guy, but I felt like I was purposely made to wait. I dunno.

I broke my TV stand today as I was clamping down parts of it. I think I have it somewhat repaired. I have plans to reinforce the entire thing. It should be finished in a couple of weeks. I may take pictures before that.

Nothing else to report. Thanks for stopping by. I'll post more tomorrow.
