We took the kids downtown for a community trick-or-treat thing that happens every year. It was very crowded. So crowded, in fact, that we decided instead to go to Kroger. They had a full suite of Halloween festivities, including paining pumpkins, decorating cookies, pissing off grocery shoppers, hot potato, and a cakewalk game. I think it was much more enjoyable than standing in line outside some shop downtown waiting for a piece of candy for the kids. What's your opinion, NetGoddess?
I had every intention of cleaning up the garage today and putting our outdoor things in there to prepare for the winter. I didn't have the drive, though, so it's going to have to wait until next weekend, I think.
