Well, I attempted to have my style sheet limit the size of avatar images, but guess what? The max-width and max-height attributes are not handled by IE quite right, so it didn't work. I decided to just set the size of the avatars to 100x100 so if the avatar is larger or smaller than that it will be stretched. Please note that even though it is stretched, the browser will still need to download the entire image, and if the image is huge it will take a while to download, so try to pre-scale your custom avatars. I will be adjusting the avatars for the site so they look good. If you have any avatars that you would like to be added to the list, let me know. I don't have many of them so far, so contributions would be good.
