That's a first iteration Menger Sponge made of 120 business cards. It took a little less than two hours to complete. Not sure I would build it again if I wanted another.
We received our new washing machine today. The old one stopped pumping out the water. I emptied it and inspected the pump, and with no drive belt or transmission being visible I came to the conclusion that the motor was just shot and it wasn't worth repairing. The new one is very quiet. Sarah seems to like it, and that's good enough for me.
Alex has to wear an eye patch for about a month. He gets some interesting looks. Some are of amusement, some of sympathy, and just a few are of respect. The thing doesn't really phase him, and he's learned to adapt very quickly to not having his leftmost peripheral vision. I'll put up a picture once I take one.
THat's about all I have. Marcus is out of Kansas, the "Soul Sucking State" (isn't that what it says on the back of their quarter?) and Josh has been to California and back and no doubt has many amusing tales of wonder and wit.
