It is a mistake I shall not repeat.
The spice rack project is a bit of a bust. The rack was supposed to mount inside the cabinet, hinged on the left side. Spices could go on this rack, and the rack can swing out to reveal more space inside the cabinet for less frequently used items, like crack. First, the cabinet isn't exactly square, and the rack reveals this a lot when it is inside the cabinet. Second, there is an exhaust vent going through the cabinet at the top, which prevents the rack from closing all the way.
I'm disappointed, but Sarah says that it would make a very nice knickknack rack (give a dog a bone). Guess I'll be mounting this on a wall somewhere. Also, I need to get some knickknacks. That word has four 'k's in it.
Rich came by and hung out a few times last week. It was good to see ya, man!
Also, last Saturday we went to CJ Barrymores for a company picnic. It was pretty fun. The girls enjoyed riding with us on the go-carts. There were bounce houses that the kids enjoyed. I played some pool with NetGoddess. It was a good time.
