Comics

It seems that everyone and his brother has a freaking web comic. Because of the staggering popularity he experienced in high school, Ron was driven to fit in with these folks and create a comic of his own. "But what kind of comic should I make?" was the question Ron asked himself. "It doesn't matter, because you can't draw and you're not funny", was the answer he came up with. The plan was then to enslave others and make them come up with the comics while Ron looks like a genius of comedy. Thus, Group Comics was born.

Why collaborative?

The big question on your mind, besides "what the hell am I doing wasting my time here?", is possibly "how does this differ from comic strip creators or caption contests?" The answer is complex, if you look at it from the domain of the Unified Field Theory. See, the web toys mentioned rely on one sole person coming up with the ultimate in comedy gold. Of the 42.8 billion users of The Internet, only about 3.789123x10-47% are funny. That man's left pinky is the only person that has the right to submit anything to these toys, which leaves an awful lot of people to play the straight man. So, the comics toy lets people add things that aren't funny on their own (like "How is your day" or "I have excrutiating farts") and let others play off of them to make the whole thing marginally entertaining.

What comics?
